Flight sharing website Wingly has assembled what it calls “a trusted, international community uniting pilots and passengers” so people can find a pilot of their own for their next journey.
The platform has more than 21,000 pilots waiting to take passengers on 5,000 different flight routes, making it an affordable and genuine alternative to booking with an airline.
A recent article for the Daily Mail detailed how two people were able to get a return flight from England to France for just £119.
The two people were booked onto a four-seater Cessna plane for little more than £100, for a journey that took less than an hour.
