The Las Vegas Raiders made one of the best trades in the offseason to acquire star wide receiver, Davante Adams.

At the time some people wondered how Adams would fair without Aaron Rodgers.

Well, he has not missed a beat this season.

Once again putting up monster numbers and making a strong case for first-team all-pro.

Adams immediately became the favorite target of quarterback Derek Carr.

Also, his play has been a big reason for the Raiders’ three-game winning streak.

Las Vegas realizes that their offense is at its best when Adams is getting the ball.

That is why he has averaged 13.4 targets per game over the last five.

Trading a large package of picks for a wide receiver can be a risky proposition.

But, the 29-year-old receiver has shown that he was well worth all the draft capital given up.

Despite starting the year 2-7, the Raiders are back in the playoff hunt after the aforementioned three straight wins.

Las Vegas is set to take on the injury-depleted Los Angeles Rams on Thursday Night, a game the Raiders should win.

Adams’ Greatness

On the season Adams leads the NFL in targets with 135.

Also, through 12 games he has 1,176 yards and 12 touchdowns.

He is one of the elite touchdown makers in the NFL at his position.

This is the third consecutive year in which Adams has at least 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns.

With still five games to play there is a chance, Adams can break his career-high touchdown mark of 18.

Expect Adams to continue to dominate the league in hopes that he can lead the Raiders back to the playoffs.
