FC Augsburg sporting director, Stefan Reuter has lauded the acquisition of youngster, Kelvin Yeboah.
The Italian-born Ghanaian youngster joined the Bundesliga club on loan from Serie B side, FC Genoa.
“Kelvin Yeboah is a young, versatile and quick attacker. He will give us another option in attack,” he told the club website.
“He showed how good he is from counter-attacks during his time in Graz and showed a real eye for goal. He’s a great fit for our team and the way we want to play,” he added.
Before putting pen to paper today, the former Sturm Graz flanks man was given a clean bill of health by the FC Augsburg team medics and he’s now looking set to begin life in the German top-flight.
He managed 11 appearances by scoring and assisting once in the Serie B league campaign for Genoa CFC.
Having been born in Accra, the 22-year-old is still qualified to play for Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the Italy U-21 national youth team.
Kelvin Yeboah is the nephew of former Ghana striker, Anthony Yeboah.
