The Green Bay Packers had an opportunity to improve their team at the trade deadline.
Sitting at 3-5, they could use some help on offense and wide receiver is the position of need.
The Packers missed a big opportunity of improving their roster at the trade deadline.
Here are two moves Green Bay should have made.
1. Trade For Chase Claypool
The Packers were thought to be interested in former Steelers wide receiver Chase Claypool long before deadline day.
But, when it came time to make a deal, Green Bay could not pull the trigger.
This move might end up haunting them.

Especially with Claypool ending up on the Chicago Bears.
Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense needed another explosive weapon on the outside.
While Claypool was not the best receiver, he fits in Green Bay’s offense.
Rodgers needed a big play threat and the Packers front office failed to get him one.
2. Acquire A Defensive Playmaker
The Packers have spent a lot of draft capital on defensive players in the past few years.
Even with all of that, Green Bay is still having trouble on defense.
They are allowing 21.6 points per game, and have given up an average of 26 points over the last four games.
Two impact defensive players in Bradley Chubb and Roquan Smith were moved at the deadline.
Yet, the Packers seemed to not be interested.
For a team that has won 13 games each of the past three years, Green Bay may not even make the playoffs this year.
Adding a defensive player and wide receiver were moves that should have been made by the Packers.
